We learn design by doing and seeing what others around the world are doing in their communities and backyards. Beauty comes in many forms and so we love what Ron Finley is doing. He's planting vegetable gardens in South Cental, Los Angeles, in abandoned lots and traffic medians. While he's bringing beauty to inner cities, he's also providing an alternative to fast-food joints.
